Welcome back to the second-ever #CulturedKids.
I was thrilled to read all your culture posts from last month. Over thirty people linked up, which for a first-ever link-up, is pretty good going. I’ve been hearing from more people who’ve said they’re also going to join in this month – so hang tight for a good old session of sharing ideas on galleries, museums, historical places and theatre shows.
Last month’s link-up was full of tales of summertime fun. There were plenty of trips to museums (a school holiday staple, especially in the UK where the weather can be tricksy). Check out Museum Diary’s visit to the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg, Sweden; My Travel Monkey’s excursion to the London Transport Museum; or A Modern Mother’s multi-generational trip to San Francisco’s MoMA.

Of course, summer’s the perfect time for exploring culture outdoors, and there were plenty of inspiring posts to send us back to those sunnier summer days. Like Mummy Travels’ description of Bodiam Castle, in Sussex, UK; Daisy the Bus’s return to the Castelo de Almourol; and Mini Travellers’ celebration of the apple festival at NT Erddig.

So: what will you be up to, over the next month? As well as finding out about opportunities for cultural trips at World Travel Market next week, we’re beginning our Christmas celebrations early. I’ve been invited to take the family along to see The Snowman at Sadler’s Wells Peacock Theatre; and to watch a Christmassy film with Backyard Cinemas, in their Winter Night Garden. I’ve posted about these and other festive treats in my preview round-up of top London Winter shows for families.

Here’s how it works:
